Inspired by her love of paper, Gwen Barba started Concarta in 2010 after her own wedding. Since then, she has made paper sculptures for events, anniversaries and special occasions all over the world. Working simply with paper, glue and a variety of cutting tools, she carefully recreates every detail from the delicate ruffles of a couture wedding gown to the way a beloved pet's fur flops over its eyes.

Gwen currently only takes a few paper sculpture commissions a year. She now designs an eponymous line of jewelry that was, in some ways, born out of years of making tiny, intricate paper flower bouquets. Her work can be found at www.gwenbarba.com
